Twilight Swim (Water Park only)
Swim in the Water Park with water features on Monday-Friday 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Cost is just $6/person
Family Fri-YAYs I Second Friday Night of the month: Dec, Jan, Feb, April, May
It’s time for Family Fun Nights at the VMCC! Bring the whole family and join us on the second Friday night of the month...shoot hoops or play games in our gym from 5-7 p.m. or splash around in our pools from 5:30-8:30 p.m. You’ll also be able to try log rolling!

Non-School Days - No school? Head to the Pool!

Classes
Log Rolling Lessons (ages 6-10) 
Here is something fun, good for you and the entire family can participate! Work on techniques to improve your log rolling skills. Strengthen your core and balance. Pre-registration is required by Sunday, Sept. 22
Dates: Sundays, Oct. 6-27
Time: 6:30-7 p.m.
Fee: $29/member; $59/non-member

Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Fitness Series I Ages 12 and up 
3 Fitness Series includes a basic class (to learn and build confidence on the paddleboard; a fitness class (to take the skills to the next level); and a yoga class (where yoga poses will be done on the board).
Practice centering and gain confidence standing on the board. You'll experiment with balance, learn strength moves and/or Yoga poses on the board while working in your comfort zone. You choose the class that is right for you! Plus, a great class to meet new people and make friends! Taught by Brown Dog Paddleboard.
*Paddleboards are provided. Participants must know how to swim. This class is not meant for participants to be fully-immersed in the water. Participants are able to get on and off the boards from the side of the lap pool. Participants may get wet, however.

Aqua Zumba
Have a blast in the water in this unique twist on the ever-popular Zumba class. Low impact Zumba-themed cardio workout in 3-5 feet of water.

Lifeguard Training 
Become certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding for pools and water parks, First Aid and CPR/AED for the professional lifeguard. Must be 15 years of age by first class.
Learn how to become a lifeguard and become certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding for pools and water parks, First Aid and CPR/AED and acquire lifelong lifesaving skills!
Sessions include 13.5 hours of water training and 7 hours of online training. Must be 15 years of age by first class and meet some skill pre-requisites.
Skill prerequisites include:
- Continuous endurance swim: front crawl and/or breaststroke for 300 yards
- Timed skill sequence: 20 yard swim, retrieval of a 10lb object from 7 to 10 feet deep, swim 20 yards carrying the object and exit the water within 1 minute, 40 seconds
- Tread water: 2 minutes using legs only
Fee: $235/VMCC members; $250/non-members

Water Safety Instructor Course (ages 16-adult) 
Teaching children and adults to swim is a rewarding experience. It provides them with the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe in the water and gives a lifetime of enjoyment in the water.
The WSI training course is a blended learning course that provides certification to teach American Red Cross swimming lessons. This class involves in-classroom time and outside class work online.
Fee: $215/ person plus an additional $37 fee to Red Cross
