Weather Impacts to city-led programs and events

IGHs Weather Hot Line (651-450-2595) is the only place to check the status for city-led program and events due to inclement weather. We strive to update by 4:30 p.m. After hours, it is up to the coaches and instructors to make the final decision.


St. Paul Farmers Market  I  Sundays, June 16-Oct. 13  I  8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Shop for fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, seasoning, salsa, honey, flowers and more at the Saint Paul Farmers Market! The event is free to attend, but the vendors will charge for their items. Each event will be in the VMCC Parking Lot at 8055 Barbara Ave. E.

Active Aging Week  I  Sept. 30-Oct. 4  I  FREE!

Join us as we celebrate a week-long effort to inspire wellness and promote the benefits of a healthier, more active lifestyle. Try out a free class, listen to a guest speaker, enjoy healthy snacks, or find small ways to get more active.

Activities will be planned for the entire week, check back often!  Location: Most activities held in the VMCC, unless otherwise noted.

Women’s Expo  I  Saturday, Oct. 12  I  8 a.m.-1 p.m.  I  FREE!

Check out this great event tailored to women. Visit an array of vendors and info. sessions regarding health and wellness, clubs and more!

  • Enjoy a Healthy Breakfast and Fitness Fashion Show ($5/member; $10 non-member) - must register!
  • Sample Kombucha
  • Attend Fitness Classes for free!
  • Book a 30-minute massage ($30) - must register!
  • Shop for health-related goods and services
  • Participate in fitness challenges

Boo Bash and Trick-or-Treating  I  Friday, Oct. 25  I  
6-8 p.m.  I  Ages 2-12

Calling all ghosts, goblins, superheroes and animals! It’s time for our 18th Annual Boo Bash! Join us for a ghoulish good time. The bash includes games, frightful friends and chilling crafts. Don’t forget to come in costume for this hauntingly good time!

Holidays in the Heights City of IGH Breakfast with Santa 2018

The holidays are here and Santa is coming to town! Celebrate this special time of year with us. It all kicks off with our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center.

Family New Year's Eve Party  I  Tuesday, Dec. 31  I  All Ages NYE party

Count down to the New Year while swimming, jamming to music and trying log rolling in our pools. You can also ice skate in our arena!
