Rich Valley Complex

Rich Valley Athletic Complex is a premier, fully irrigated outdoor athletic facility consisting of baseball, softball and soccer fields. The complex can accommodate youth and adult sporting events and tournaments of varying sizes. The complex has six softball fields (four lit), three grass baseball fields and four non-lit soccer fields.


There is also a great playground, picnic area and trails open to the public. It is available for rental. For more information or for rental rates and availability, call (651) 450-2585.

From North to East
Take Highway 52 South to the 80th Street exit. At the stop sign, continue straight on Barnes Avenue (south Frontage Road). Continue on Barnes until you reach the complex on the right-hand side.

From the West
Take 494 East to Highway 3. Head South on Highway 3 to County Road 71. Take a slight left (south) on Country Road 71. Complex will be on your left-hand side.

From the South
Take Highway 52 North. Exit on 80th Street. Take a right on 80th Street. Take a left on Barnes Ave.

Rich Valley Hosts MN Twins Play Ball! Clinic
 Free Clinic!

Join the MN Twins Play Ball! clinic coaching staff for this free clinic designed to teach basic fundamentals including hitting, fielding and throwing through hands-on instruction.  The MN Twins provide safe, youth-friendly, equipment.   Each participant will receive a free commemorative Twins item.  Participants are asked to bring their own baseball or softball glove. No pre-registration required.

Dugout Cover Project
The complex is receiving new dugout covers for all nine (9) fields.  The project is a joint effort between the City, IGH Baseball Association, IGH Softball Federation and the MN Twins Community Fund.

The project is expected to be completed by June 1.
