Economic Development

Overview

The City of Inver Grove Heights desires economic development to provide jobs, increase tax base, and offer goods and service to its citizens.

The City strives to foster an attractive environment for both new and existing businesses by retaining existing businesses, assisting businesses with expansion, attracting new businesses to the community, and enabling the rehabilitation and redevelopment of commercial areas within the City.

Economic development activities are directed by the Economic Development Authority (EDA) and staffed by the city’s Community Development Director.
