Important Safety Guidelines during reopening Phase 1 (Begins July 6, 2020)

Based on current capacity and social distancing guidelines:

  • Indoor Turf will be used for Recreation Programs and rentals ONLY
  • Ice will be available for rentals ONLY
  • OPEN SKATE and OPEN HOCKEY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE

Ice Rentals

VMCC has two sheets of ice that can be rented on an hourly basis. Whether you are a hockey team, a private party, or other organization, renting ice is easy here!

  • View a master arena schedule  (schedules are subject to change)
  • To schedule ice time, contact Al Vandehoef at avandehoef@invergroveheights.org  or by calling (651) 450-2468 during regular business hours (M-F, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.).
  • Contact the Parks & Recreation Front Desk if calling outside normal business hours at: (651) 554-3441

Indoor Turf Rental  

The VMCC has indoor turf available for rental by the hour from early March to the middle of October. The fee is $90 /hour for resident groups and $100/hour for non-resident groups.

Open Skate and Open Hockey - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

Open Skate and Open Hockey are opportunities for the public to enjoy time on the ice and practice your skill, regardless of what level you are at, and have fun!

Learn to Skate Program - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

We offer year-round learn to skate lessons using the International Skating Institute (ISI) skill level system and Basic Skills from United Skate Figure Skating. This is a great opportunity for skaters of all ages to get introduced to the skill of skating and continue to develop that skill.
