Ice Rentals

VMCC has two sheets of ice that can be rented on an hourly basis. Whether you are a hockey team, a private party, or other organization, renting ice is easy here!

Open Skate and Open Hockey

Open Skate and Open Hockey are opportunities for the public to enjoy time on the ice and practice your skill, regardless of what level you are at, and have fun!

Indoor Turf Rental  

The VMCC has indoor turf available for rental by the hour from early March to the middle of October. The fee is $90 /hour for resident groups and $100/hour for non-resident groups.

Learn to Skate Program

We offer year-round learn to skate lessons using the International Skating Institute (ISI) skill level system and Basic Skills from United Skate Figure Skating. This is a great opportunity for skaters of all ages to get introduced to the skill of skating and continue to develop that skill. Learn more about the Learn to Skate program and how to sign-up.

 

Indoor Walking Program

Simley High School, South St. Paul High School, Henry Sibley High School and Veterans Memorial Community Center (west rink only) are available for indoor walking during designated times. The cost is $5 for a walking button that must be worn while walking and is good through May 31, 2019. 

Walking buttons may be purchased in person at IGH Parks and Recreation Office, IGH VMCC Guest Services desk, District 197 District Office, Thompson Park Activity Center (WSP) or Central Square Community Center (SSP).

VMCC (west arena & hallways only): Mon-Fri: 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
